About Us

Each teacher puts their own spin on Tai Chi 4 Recovery.  They practice and deliver it in a ways that are consistent with their own calling.

Our Story

Birthed out of the need for simple, accessible, emotion regulation; 
Tai Chi 4 Recovery was born in 2001 at a Chemical Dependency Community Residence.   Choreographed to the Serenity Prayer, it is a mindful moving meditation. 

Specifically adapted for the recovery community, these five easy to follow, yet powerful moves are from ancient wisdom:
a Cheng Man Ching - Yang style Tai Chi form blended with healing Qi Gong. 

 

The first instructor training happened in November of 2021. Those who gathered at "Patricia's Pond" have incorporated the practice into their own lives and are enriching the lives of others in a variety of settings.
